Job summary

Strata in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a Geologist or Engineer I/II to support UIC projects, GIS mapping, and field investigations for salt caverns, injection wells, and storage facilities.

You will develop maps with ArcGIS/Petra, draft technical reports, and interact with clients and regulators. Regular travel to client sites is required; teamwork and professional ethics are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field from an accredited university.
• Master’s degree in Geology or related field preferred.
• Professional Geologist/Professional Engineer registration planned after qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Field geology tasks including logging, MITs and well testing support.
• Prepare geologic cross sections, maps, and reports for permits and clients.
• Draft and revise technical reports and ensure data quality.
