Job summary

GeoSystems Analysis, Inc., a Trinity Consultants team, is seeking an Engineer I to join our growing team. You will support the analysis, design, and documentation for mine reclamation, managed aquifer recharge, and habitat restoration projects across civil, environmental, and water resources.

The role may be based in Tucson, Hood River, or Albuquerque offices. You will perform engineering analyses, prepare calculations, develop design concepts, and collaborate with CAD staff to produce plans and

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• EIT certification required; PE or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with mine reclamation, managed aquifer recharge, habitat restoration, or related water resources projects preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analyses and design activities related to stormwater, hydrology, hydraulics, earthwork and landform stabilization.
• Prepare calculations, reports, specifications, design plans and documentation under guidance of senior engineers.
• Develop design concepts and review drawings with CAD staff.
• Analyze technical data to support project design and solutions.
• Identify challenges, evaluate solutions, and communicate recommendations to teams.
• Participate in field investigations, site visits, data collection and construction observations as needed.
• Support project planning, including scopes, estimates, proposals, and technical documentation.
