Job summary

Carpe is a fast-growing deodorant brand based in downtown Durham, NC, building a direct-to-consumer site on Shopify. This role centers on evolving the website to convert visitors into customers, using data and feedback to ship improvements weekly.

You'll design landing pages, run end-to-end A/B tests, and ensure a mobile-first experience that loads quickly and looks great on every screen. You’ll own the output and influence how the brand grows online.

Qualifications

• Designed and built webpages and launched them live.
• Ran A/B tests on a live site with measurable outcomes.
• Maintained a portfolio of site work with real results.
• Utilized AI coding tools to implement design ideas.
• Designed primarily for mobile before desktop.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship landing pages, funnels and on-site experiences that drive purchases.
• Oversee end-to-end testing program from framing to results to shipping wins.
• Analyze session recordings to inform what to build next.
• Ensure pages render correctly across all screen sizes, prioritizing mobile."
• Maintain a consistent design system as the site grows.
• Identify and fix broken states, slow loads and copy mistakes before customers encounter them.
