Job summary

Carpe is seeking a hands-on web designer/developer to improve the Shopify-powered site. You will design, build and test landing pages and funnels, optimizing for mobile and desktop experiences while maintaining a cohesive design system.

Lead a live testing program, analyze results, and ship updates that move the conversion needle. Bring a portfolio of results and be comfortable iterating with feedback from the ecommerce team.

Qualifications

• You’ve built webpages live and shipped them to customers.
• You’ve run A/B tests on a live site and can explain outcomes.
• You have a portfolio of site work with measurable results.
• You use AI coding tools to build your own designs.
• You design for phones first and it shows in your work.
• You can explain your design reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship landing pages, funnels and on-site experiences that get more people to buy
• Run our testing program from start to finish, from framing a test and building it through to reading the results and shipping whatever won
• Watch session recordings and use what people are actually doing on the site to decide what to build next
• Make sure every page looks right on every screen size, with phones as the priority
• Keep the design system consistent so the site holds together as it grows
• Find your own broken states, slow loads and copy mistakes before a customer runs into them
