The Idaho Department of Labor supports individuals through career transitions, determines benefit eligibility, connects employers with workers and oversees tax and labor law compliance.
The UI Compliance Bureau has an exciting opportunity for a full-time UI Tax Representative. The UI Tax Representative position will provide taxpayer assistance and conduct compliance activities related to the employer tax and benefit provisions of the Idaho Employment Security Law; collect delinquent taxes; audit business records to verify proper reporting of workers and wages; make employer status determinations and investigate obstructed benefit claims.
Location: This position may be located in Boise or Caldwell depending on selection of the successful candidate.
Candidates who are fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish are encouraged to apply, but it is not a requirement for this position.
Applicants selected for this position will be required to pass a background check.
The position requires day and occasional overnight travel throughout the State of Idaho. Valid driver's license required.
