The role emphasizes staff coaching, training, performance evaluations, and collaboration with AJC teams while monitoring adjudication backlogs and payment processing timelines.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in a public or private agency rendering and/or determining eligibility for a Human Service Program, or four years of experience in administrative/professional staff work plus four years in such an agency.
• Bachelor's degree or graduate-level education can substitute for the required experience as described above.
• Graduate level education at 30 credit hours can substitute for the required general experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, review, and lead a unit of UI Professionals/Associates responsible for taking and processing claims.
• Provide feedback, guidance, and training on policies, procedures, and programs to ensure goals are met.
• Examine and review unemployment insurance claims and non-monetary determinations for accuracy to minimize improper payments.
