Job summary

Georgia Department of Labor seeks UI Claims Examiner Associate – TLB to support overpayment investigations and wage audits in the Benefits Payment Control Unit. You will review claims for overpayments, conduct fact-finding, and process relevant notices from employers and claimants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and three (3) years of job-related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field recommended with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews unemployment insurance claims for overpayments.
• Establishes and investigates fraud and non-fraud overpayments.
• Processes Employer and Claimant Wage Audit Notices.
• Conducts fact-finding to determine overpayment cause.
• Processes payments and prepares daily deposits.
• Reviews appeals remanded to the overpayment unit.
