Qualifications

• Four years of experience in a public or private agency determining eligibility for human service programs, or a Bachelor's degree.
• One year or more of experience applying federal and/or state unemployment insurance laws, regulations, and policies.
• Experience using standard office equipment and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Experience verifying identification documents.
• Experience learning and applying new computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Investigate UI fraud indicators and contribute to prevention, investigation, and recovery of overpayments.
• Explain UI laws and processes to claimants and employers, ensuring accurate benefit payments.
