Job summary

fairlife, LLC in Webster, NY is seeking a production operator to run aseptic and UHT equipment safely and efficiently on a 12-hour day shift. You will follow GMPs, log process data, and perform routine sanitation and maintenance while supporting QA sampling and two distinct production lines.

The role requires basic math, strong communication in English, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate forklifts under training.

Qualifications

• Must work in a safe, efficient manner and follow all safety procedures including the use of safety equipment.
• Must be able to troubleshoot small problems and know when to seek guidance from supervisors.
• Must be willing to ask for assistance when the process is unclear.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must be able to operate equipment after break-in period.

Responsibilities

• Operate Aseptic Tank and UHT equipment safely and sanitarily.
• Follow GMP rules and report to Processing Supervisors.
• Know start-up and shut-down procedures for lines.
• Use HMI to manage process controls within limits.
• Record regulatory production parameters accurately.
• Clean tanks, lines, and pasteurizer; perform CIP/COP daily.
• Take product samples for QA testing and CIP checks.
• Support two separate production systems with distinct parameters.
• PM schedule adherence and equipment maintenance.
• Escalate issues per protocol and assist training of new staff.
• Complete MSS, CL, and CIL tasks on time and communicate delays.
