Job summary

DFA is seeking a dependable pasteurizer operator in Missouri to ensure product safety and quality. The role is on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm) with a pay of $23/hour.

You will operate the pasteurizer, collect samples for lab testing, and maintain sanitation of silos and tanks while adhering to DFA GMPs. Responsibilities include following recipes, producing batches per guidelines, and reporting issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to follow directions and carry out instructions.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Able to write legibly for record keeping.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate pasteurizer in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Obtain milk and cream samples for testing by lab to include raw and processed product
• Wash and sanitize milk silos, cream tanks, and any other equipment as needed
• Produce product according to guidelines and separate into correct batches
• Follow recipe guidelines for all products produced.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED required
