Job summary

DFA in United States (MA) is seeking a Pasteurizer Operator to ensure pasteurization processes meet safety and production standards. You will handle milk and cream samples, operate pasteurizing equipment, and maintain sanitation across silos and tanks.

Responsibilities include following recipes, documenting results, and reporting safety or quality issues. The role requires teamwork, accuracy in record keeping, and adherence to GMP and health regulations.

Qualifications

• Able to follow directions and carry out instructions.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operate pasteurizer in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Obtain milk and cream samples for testing by lab to include raw and processed product
• Wash and sanitize milk silos, cream tanks, and any other equipment as needed
• Produce product according to guidelines and separate into correct batches
• Follow recipe guidelines for all products produced.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
