Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a seasoned Mortgage Loan Originator to develop and maintain a network of client referrals for residential lending opportunities. You will respond to inquiries, interview borrowers, determine financing objectives, and advise on pricing policies while complying with SAFE Act requirements.

Responsibilities include prospecting clients, negotiating terms, and driving referrals through Merrill Financial Advisors while ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in a loan origination role with ultra-high net worth and affluent clients.
• Proven track record in prospecting, generating leads, closing business and meeting production goals.
• Strong background in credit solutions, from standard to custom mortgage products and other securities-based lending.
• Experience building relationships with clients and understanding processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
• Knowledge of federal real estate lending regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and structure lending opportunities while determining client financial objectives.
• Negotiate lending terms, justify deals, and advise on policies and guidelines.
• Maintain a network of relationships to drive referrals for lending opportunities.
• Guide clients through final loan approval and closing and ensure data quality of deals.
• Provide guidance to influence strategic decisions and prioritize tasks.
• Maintain knowledge of lending programs, policies, and regulatory requirements to support Wealth Management products.
