Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II (UH-60 Quality Control Inspector) in Hawaii to inspect repairs, modifications, and maintenance on UH-60 aircraft. You will lead small teams, ensure FAA compliance, and contribute to safety programs.

The role requires five years of maintenance experience, an FAA A&P license (IA preferred), and the ability to obtain required clearances. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of recent aircraft maintenance experience.
• At least one year inspecting MDS aircraft.
• FAA A&P license required; IA preferred or equivalent experience.
• Must hold/obtain applicable security clearance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; knowledge of FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plans, conducts, and supervises aircraft technical inspections.
• Inspects and evaluates repairs and modifications to aircraft structures and engines.
• Inspects and evaluates maintenance of aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, and fuel systems.
• Applies technical knowledge to diagnose malfunctions and restore equipment.
• Participates in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required.
• Ensure compliance with configuration control, oil analysis program, and calibration of test equipment.
