Job summary

Dairy-Farmers-of-America,-Inc. is seeking an Operations Team member to safely run and supervise packaging, dryer, evaporator, CIP, and related equipment.

The role includes training UF Operators, maintaining sanitation, and ensuring compliance with GMP and HACCP standards in a 12-hour shift schedule. The position offers opportunities for professional development within a learning organization, with potential overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 4 to 6 years of experience or 4+ years with demonstrated leadership attributes preferred.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all systems that correspond with the operation.
• Maintain daily sheets with audit information and all lab testing information when necessary.
• Ensure all documentation is within required compliance.
• Oversee CIP washing to ensure proper chemicals, pressure, and all processes are being followed.
• Manage workflow of UF operators and ensure rotation for consistent training.
• Train new hire UF Operators- responsible for keeping up on DOA’s and reporting issues to Supervisor.
• Provide feedback, training and coaching to existing receivers.
• First level of escalation for UF operators.
• Attendance at all required meetings.
• Backup to Production Supervisor.
• On shift coverage for call ins as needed.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Follow GMP and corporate regulatory requirements.
