Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Dryer Operator to run the dryer equipment and manage process controls. The role requires maintaining the dryer area, recording production data, and ensuring labels and codes are correct.

The position emphasizes adherence to GMP and safety standards, sanitation, and proper waste handling, with training provided to maintain high-quality cheese production standards.

Formación

• Be able to work a full 12-hour shift.
• Physically handle the duties assigned, including cleaning.
• Learn the theory of operating and cleaning procedures and practices involved in the operation and equipment of the position, including any new operations and equipment assigned by management.
• Work proficiently, neatly and accurately at the speeds required.
• Perform the job duties resulting in a high-quality product.
• Perform necessary routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Perform work independently as required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the dryer and process controls as trained.
• Maintain and clean the dryer, towers, and surrounding areas.
• Record daily production data and proper codes and labels.
• Collect product samples and ensure product meets specifications.
• Adhere to GMP, sanitation standards, and safety rules.
• Communicate shift recap to the next operator.
• Attend required safety, GMP, HACCP, SQF training and apply learnings.
