Job summary

Synopsys Inc is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer with a strong background in ASIC/SoC design, verification, or applications. You will lead complex customer deployments, provide technical guidance, and partner with R&D to improve deployment methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science is required.
• At least 15 years in design, verification, implementation, validation, or applications engineering.
• Deep expertise in ASIC Front-End or Back-End development and advanced SoC integration.

Responsibilities

• Understand complex IIP applications across diverse customer SoCs, chiplet architectures, and system implementations.
• Lead technical reviews for highly complex customer programs and critical integration milestones.
• Provide expert guidance on challenging IIP integration topics including simulation, synthesis, floorplanning, STA, DFT, package integration, silicon bring-up, validation, and system-level deployment.
• Lead technical direction and provide consulting to customers, AE teams, and R&D organizations.
• Partner with customer engineering leadership to resolve deployment issues and drive product enhancements from deployment experiences.
• Mentor and develop applications engineers across multiple projects and technology areas.
• Develop and promote technical methodologies, best practices, application notes, and deployment guidance.
