Job summary

Synopsys Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Application Engineer with strong VLSI experience to support Interface IP integration across the SoC design flow.

You will guide customers through design, verification, and bring‑up, solving complex issues in a UNIX environment and collaborating with R&D and field teams. The role involves hands-on debugging, engagement across milestones, and occasional travel to customer sites, including in North America.

Qualifications

• Background in design, verification, or application engineering.
• Experience with simulation, synthesis, and static timing analysis.
• Hands-on support across ASIC/SoC flow from IP integration to silicon bring-up.

Responsibilities

• Support Interface IP customers with integration across the SoC design flow.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve integration, implementation, and debug challenges.
• Assist with technical reviews at milestones and help customers work through issues efficiently.
• Support silicon and system bring-up with hands-on debugging of critical issues.
• Partner with R&D, product, and field teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Stay current on industry standards and protocol requirements across market segments.
• Travel occasionally for on-site technical collaboration and bring-up activities.
