Job summary

Synopsys Inc. is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to drive UCIe IP integration in SoC flows for AI-enabled designs. You will guide customers through simulation, synthesis, floorplanning, and validation, working across design teams to resolve complex challenges.

You will partner with R&D to develop deployment methodologies, influence product quality, and help customers bring up silicon and system-level deployments. Some travel is expected and NA-centric collaboration is supported.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in engineering and hands-on experience in ASIC front-end/back-end development.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead customer technical discussions and engagements.
• Strong debugging, die-to-die and PCIe/CXL protocol knowledge.
• Experience with mixed-signal IP or circuit design a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer SoCs and configurations across simulation, synthesis, floor planning, STA, DFT, silicon bring-up, and system integration.
• Lead customer integration reviews and drive root-cause analysis for complex issues.
• Collaborate with R&D to develop application notes and improve deployment methodologies.
• Build trusted relationships with customer teams and influence technical decisions.
