Job summary

Black Box Corporation in Fresno, California seeks a UC Technician to install, program and test unified communications solutions on Premise, Hosted and Cloud platforms for client sites. Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience with Unified Communications (UC) systems.
• Proven ability to install, service, program, test and troubleshoot UC systems.
• Strong customer/client service orientation with effective communication.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to read blueprints and electrical documents.

Responsibilities

• Install and program UC platforms with functionality such as Chat, Presence, Voice, Mobility, Audio, Web, Video, Desktop Sharing, Call Control, Speech Recognition, Unified Messaging, Email, Digital Signage.
• Troubleshoot UC product platforms across Premise, Hosted and Cloud environments and ensure timely resolutions.
• Complete MAC work orders and documentation according to company standards.
• Maintain front-line customer satisfaction and professional client interactions.
• Plan and prioritize jobs via centralized resource management and coordinate with team members.
• Complete required documentation for billing, payroll, SLAs, and reporting.
• Inform operations management of procedures and status and ensure OSHA compliance where required.
• Request equipment and supplies to maintain inventory and project readiness.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure SLA adherence; transport tools and equipment as needed.
• Attend meetings and training to stay current on UC technologies and service practices.
• Meet performance targets established by leadership for KPIs and related metrics.
