Job summary

Black Box is seeking an on-site UC Technician in Fresno, CA to install, test, and troubleshoot unified communications systems across Premise, Hosted, and Cloud platforms. You will work on Cisco, Microsoft, Avaya, NEC, Mitel and similar solutions, ensuring smooth integration and client satisfaction.

You will configure and test features like voice, video, messaging, mobility, and call control while coordinating with North American Commercial Services (NACS) operations.

Qualifications

• Associated degree or certification in a technology services/technical discipline.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience with Unified Communications (UC) systems.
• Certifications such as Cisco CCNA Voice/Network, Microsoft MCSE or Avaya ACIS/ACSS/ACSE are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and program UC platforms including features like Chat, Presence, Voice, Mobility, Audio, Web, Video, Desktop Sharing, Call Control, Speech Recognition, Unified Messaging, Email, Digital Signage.
• Troubleshoot UC systems on Premise, Hosted and Cloud solutions and coordinate with client teams.
• Complete MAC work orders and document progress, time, and materials per SLAs.
