Job summary

Zone 5 Technologies in Paso Robles, CA is seeking a UAV Avionics Assembler II to build avionics assemblies and wiring harnesses to aerospace standards, supporting multiple programs.

You will collaborate with engineers and production teams, perform wire terminations, harness routing, and basic testing, while maintaining documentation and adhering to AS9100, FAA, and internal quality requirements. High school diploma and 1–3 years experience required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in electronics, avionics, or precision assembly.
• Proficient in reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and BOMs.
• Experience using standard avionics assembly tools and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble avionics components, electromechanical assemblies, and wiring harnesses from engineering drawings and schematics.
• Perform wire terminations, connector installations, and harness routing to specification.
• Conduct continuity checks and basic functional testing.
• Identify and elevate non-conformances and workmanship issues.
• Maintain accurate as-built documentation and material traceability via MES.
• Adhere to AS9100, FAA, and internal quality requirements.
