Job summary

Platform Aerospace is seeking a UAS Maintenance Technician III to support field operations in a DoD environment. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing aircraft and related equipment, with duties including testing, preventive maintenance, and integration across electrical, mechanical, and sensor systems at client facilities.

The technician will perform ground handling, UAV launch/recovery, and monitor equipment logs while ensuring adherence to safety and operational protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing aircraft systems is required.
• Ability to travel up to 75% CONUS/OCONUS.
• Must hold and maintain DoD Secret clearance; must obtain DoD Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform unmanned aviation ground handling operations.
• Conduct UAV launch and recovery operations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot aircraft systems and subsystems.
• Perform maintenance and repair of aircraft structures.
• Deliver training to new UAV Maintenance Technicians; ensure safety and procedures.
