Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform routine and preventive maintenance on aircraft systems and ground support equipment.
• Current DoD security clearance (Secret) and ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% CONUS/OCONUS.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting engines, avionics, and related components.

Responsibilities

• Perform unmanned aerial system ground handling operations.
• Conduct UAV launch and recovery operations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot aircraft systems and subsystems.
• Perform maintenance and repair of aircraft structures.
• Deliver training programs to new UAV Maintenance Technicians, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Respond to and resolve emergency situations as they arise.
• Ensure standards are implemented and upheld in daily activities.
• Maintain equipment used to support aircraft mission operations.
• Analyze and interpret equipment log reports.
• Diagnose and resolve operational problems.
