Job summary

Platform Aerospace in Hollywood, MD is seeking a UAS Maintenance Technician II to install, maintain, and repair aircraft and related systems supporting R&D efforts. This role requires hands-on work with UAVs, ground support equipment, and sensor integration, following company procedures and specifications.

The successful candidate will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, collect and analyze maintenance logs, and assist with aircraft modifications and testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50% CONUS/OCONUS.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform unmanned aviation ground handling operations.
• Conduct UAV launch and recovery operations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot aircraft systems and subsystems.
• Assist with aircraft modifications, testing, and integration for R&D.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure procedures are followed.
• Analyze maintenance logs and diagnose issues.
