Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for Sentera sensors and hardware systems. You will plan, coordinate, and execute sensor and hardware integrations for new UAS platforms, and maintain existing integration solutions.

Responsibilities include conducting UAS flight tests to validate performance, designing wire harnesses, and producing technical documentation for internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficiency in CAD software; PTC Creo preferred.
• Ability to obtain FAA Part 107 within three months of employment.
• Experience with UAS platforms and sensors is preferred.
• Familiarity with Pixhawk autopilots (PX4/ArduPilot) and MAVLink is a plus.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for Sentera sensors and hardware systems.
• Coordinate sensor and hardware integrations for new UAS platforms.
• Maintain and enhance existing sensor integration solutions.
• Support hardware integration across multiple UAS platforms.
• Conduct flight testing to validate system performance.
