Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• Proficient in CAD; Creo preferred.
• FAA Part 107 certification within three months of employment.
• Experience with UAS platforms and Pixhawk autopilots (PX4/ArduPilot) is preferred.
• Ability to interpret requirements and perform hardware integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of Sentera sensor components and hardware.
• Plan and execute sensor/hardware integrations for new UAS platforms.
• Maintain existing sensor integrations and provide hardware validation.
• Lead flight testing and document results for internal and external use.
• Create engineering drawings and BOMs; support docs for production.
