Job summary

Intrepid Prosperity is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, integrate and test electrical systems on our UAS in a fast-paced R&D setting. You will work hands-on with harnesses, avionics and payload interfaces, supporting flight tests and ground operations.

Responsibilities include drafting schematics, conducting power budget analyses, and coordinating with mechanical, software and supply chain teams. UAS experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience in UAS, aerospace or similar hardware R&D.
• Hands-on integration: harness build, soldering, crimping and lab equipment use.
• Solid understanding of power systems, analog/digital electronics and CAN/UART/I2C/Ethernet.
• Experience with schematic/ECAD tools: Altium, KiCad or OrCAD.
• U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop UAS electrical systems, including power distribution and avionics interfaces.
• Create and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams and interface control documents.
• Support component selection, power budgets and PCB design as needed.
• Perform hands-on electrical integration on UAVs and ground equipment.
• Develop test plans, run bench and environmental tests, document results.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare flight-test integration and hand designs over to subcontractors.
