FAME, based in Boston, is seeking a U.S. Managing Director to lead fundraising, development, and strategic oversight for the U.S. organization.

You will build major donor relationships, manage the U.S. development team, work with the Board and Tanzanian leadership, and translate Tanzania programs into U.S. fundraising impact.

This role requires high-level leadership, cross-border collaboration, and the ability to move between big-picture strategy and hands-on cultivation of supporters.

Responsabilités

• Partner with FAME’s U.S. Board of Directors, Co-Founders and Tanzanian leadership to advance FAME’s mission, vision and strategic priorities.
• Translate FAME’s programmatic priorities into effective U.S. fundraising, donor engagement and communications strategies.
• Develop strategies for revenue growth, donor engagement and long-term organizational sustainability.
• Lead fundraising and development activities across individual, foundation and institutional support.
• Oversee governance, policies and processes to strengthen the U.S. organization.
• Represent FAME at donor meetings, conferences and external events.
