Job summary

McLarens, a premier loss adjusting and forensic services firm, seeks a qualified U.S. attorney to provide legal advice and commercial support across its U.S. operations, partnering with Group General Counsel and business leaders.

You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts, support M&A in the Americas, advise on regulatory matters, employment law, and governance, while growing into independent management of legal matters.

Qualifications

• Qualified U.S. attorney (active bar membership required).
• 1–2 years of legal experience required.
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic commercial environment.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to timelines.
• Experience in insurance, claims, or professional services highly desirable.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Working knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal advice to U.S. business units with the Group General Counsel.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements under supervision.
• Identify legal risks and offer practical, commercially focused solutions.
• Support acquisitions from due diligence through completion.
• Coordinate with external counsel and manage corporate governance docs.
• Advise on employment law and regulatory compliance.
