Job summary

Dozee seeks an HR/People Operations lead to stand up the U.S. function from scratch in the Fort Worth/DFW area. You will own hiring, onboarding, and the employee experience for the U.S. team, partnering with India HR to align global policy and drive Dozee’s culture stateside.

You will be the go-to person for HR, travel, and admin needs, and you’ll work closely with department heads and the Director – HR to scale Dozee’s U.S. presence while maintaining high standards of compliance and culture.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years in HR, People Operations, or HRBP roles; startup or fast-scaling background is a plus.
• Experience recruiting and onboarding end-to-end, not just supporting a process.
• Knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR compliance; exposure to a PEO is a plus.
• Able to work solo in a location and set things up from scratch.
• Experience coordinating with teams across countries/time zones is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own U.S. hiring end-to-end, partnering with department heads.
• Build and run the U.S. onboarding program for new hires.
• Be the single point of contact for U.S. employees on HR, travel, and admin questions.
• Champion Dozee's culture across a distributed U.S. team.
• Partner with India HR to align U.S. practices with global policy.
• Coordinate payroll, expenses, and vendor payments with Finance.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day issues and maintain HR compliance in Texas.
