Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES) in Washington, DC, seeks a U.S. Policy Associate Fellow to advance domestic climate and energy policies. You will assess federal policy, develop policy approaches, and support stakeholder engagement, reporting to the Director for U.S. Policy and Outreach.

The role emphasizes research, analysis, writing, and collaboration across teams in a dynamic, hybrid work setting with a mission to accelerate a low-carbon economy.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in economics, environmental or energy policy, environmental studies, political science with 2–4 years of climate/energy experience OR a Master’s degree in a related field.
• Strong ability to conduct research and produce high-quality written work with limited supervision.
• Excellent writing, editing, research, and analytic skills.
• Interdisciplinary understanding of climate change across science, economics, markets, technology and policy.

Responsabilidades

• Support development of high-impact climate, energy, and climate-aligned trade policies.
• Conduct policy research and analysis with limited supervision.
• Develop written products including analyses, policy briefs and reports.
• Support advocacy to enact climate policies and engage stakeholders.
• Represent C2ES at external meetings and briefings.
• Monitor policy developments and assist in organizing workshops and events.
• Contribute to a positive organizational culture and DI initiatives.
