Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES) in Washington, DC seeks a U.S. Policy Analyst or Associate Fellow to advance domestic climate and energy policy work. You will assess the federal policy landscape, develop policy approaches, and support stakeholder engagement.

The role reports to the Director for U.S. Policy and Outreach and collaborates with the U.S. Policy Fellow and Climate-Aligned Trade Associate Fellow.

Qualifications

• Strong writing, editing, research, and analytic skills.
• Interdisciplinary understanding of climate change and policy.
• Ability to sort through dense information quickly.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and environmental justice.

Responsabilités

• Support development and advancement of climate, energy, and climate-aligned trade policies.
• Monitor and report on policy developments and actions.
• Conduct research and analysis under supervision.
• Contribute to written materials such as policy briefs and reports.
• Attend events and inform the U.S. Policy team about relevant activities.
• Provide logistical support for workshops and stakeholder engagements.
• Contribute to a positive organizational culture and participate in JEDI initiatives.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
