Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a U-2 Aircraft Electrical/Avionics Technician at Beale AFB, CA. You will support modification, upgrade, and overhaul efforts, ensuring electrical and avionics integrity across assigned U-2 aircraft.

The role requires 3+ years in U-2 avionics/E&E or 5+ years in fighter aircraft, plus a 7-Level USAF craftsman credential. US citizenship and security clearance are required; travel may be frequent.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of U-2 Avionics/E&E experience or 5 years of fighter aircraft experience (F-15, F-16, A-10, etc).
• Must have a craftsman level (7-Level USAF) in a like position, system or equivalent i.e.… Navy, Army

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain U-2 electrical, avionics, landing gear, flight controls, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform actions in compliance with technical orders, fault isolation manuals, and local instructions.
• Document all work in maintenance data systems and ensure record accuracy.
• Maintain aircraft readiness by overseeing maintenance on assigned aircraft.
• Support frequent domestic and international travel with passport and security compliance
