Job summary

PetroSea in Northern Kentucky is seeking a Tyre Supervisory Engineer to manage daily tyre operations in a mining setting, ensuring technical correctness, safety, and efficiency in line with company policies.

You will monitor tyre performance, develop replacement and repair plans, and oversee front tire replacements, rim changes, and daily pressure checks.

The role requires leadership of subordinates, a strong SHE focus, and fluent English; high school engineering background preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of tyre supervision experience in mining.
• Knowledge of haul road analysis, TKPH, tyre selection and management.
• Ability to perform tyre failure analysis.
• Strong reporting on tyre site activities.
• Knowledge of tyre repair and maintenance.
• Proactive safety attitude; able to lead subordinates.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control tyre operation to meet targets and safety.
• Develop and manage tyre forecast replacement and repair plans.
• Conduct tyre preventive maintenance list and schedules.
• Ensure safe and timely completion of unit breakdowns.
• Maintain SHE programs and comply with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 & SMKP.
• Generate tyre site reports.

Job description

Manage and operate tyreman daily activities to ensure work is performed in a technically correct, safe and efficient manner, conform with company’s standard and policies.

Job Responsibilities

To monitor and control tyre operation, attain equipment target availability and provide service to satisfaction of all tyres and users. All tyres and users are proven to be satisfied with the provided services.

Develop and manage tyre forecast replacement, matching and repair plan while ensuring tyre recording system is good maintained. Tyre recording system is good maintained.

Responsible to conduct tyre preventive maintenance list; front tyre replacement schedule, rim replacement schedule; tyre condition check on the unit in daily check pressure activities. All of the tyre-condition related processes are accurately conducted.

Control sub ordinates to do the unit breakdown job in safe and on time completion. Unit breakdown jobs are completed in a safe and timely manner.

Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

Education

Certification

• If candidates do not meet the requirements specified in the Education section, evaluation shall be conducted in accordance with KKNI Level 6.
