Klinge Tire Management Consultants Inc. (KTMC US) is a Greenville, South Carolina-based mining tire and rim training and consulting company, wholly owned by Michelin North America and operating as part of the broader KLINGE group, which is managed from Australia.

The global KLINGE group provides specialist mining tire management consulting, training, safety assessments and software solutions to mining operations worldwide. Our services include operational tire management consulting, accredited training, TyreARM operational and safety assessments, and the Total Tyre Control (TTC) software suite.

Our team combines practical, hands-on industry experience with technology and data-driven insights to improve tire safety, performance, efficiency and cost management. Who Are We Looking For?

We are seeking an experienced Tyre Management Systems Consultant to join our US team, based in Greenville, South Carolina USA. This is a full-time position offering a hybrid working arrangement, with regular domestic and international travel to client operations.

The successful candidate will provide specialist consulting, training and technical support to mining operations, tire service providers and contractors throughout North America, South America and other international markets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering practical, hands-on OTR tire and rim service training, including safety, maintenance procedures and industry best practices.
• Conducting mine tire management and safety assessments, reviewing tire bay operations, equipment, procedures, competency and operational risks.
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities through existing customer relationships and engagement with mines, mining contractors, tire dealers and service providers.
• Providing technical and operational consulting to improve tire safety, service performance, tire life and overall cost efficiency.
• Analyzing tire management and performance data, identifying trends and presenting actionable recommendations to client stakeholders.
• Supporting clients using KLINGE's Total Tyre Control software solutions.
• Preparing technical reports, proposals, presentations and project deliverables.
• Managing consulting and training projects from initial scoping and quoting through to successful delivery and invoicing.
• Collaborating with KLINGE's international consulting, training, software and support teams to support ongoing product and service development.

This is a diverse, client-facing role combining technical expertise, practical training, consulting and business development. It will suit an experienced OTR tire professional who enjoys working directly with mining operations, solving problems and building long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in OTR tires, mining tire management, tire service operations or closely related heavy industry roles.
• Strong practical understanding of OTR tire and rim safety, maintenance, service procedures and operational best practices.
• Experience in a supervisory, technical advisory, training or management capacity within tire service or mining operations.
• Ability to analyse operational and performance data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing technical reports and delivering presentations or training to different levels of personnel.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage client relationships and coordinate multiple projects.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the USA and internationally, including to operational mine sites.

Highly Regarded:

• Experience delivering technical training, competency assessments or operational safety audits.
• Consulting experience involving mine tire management, operational improvements or maintenance systems.
• Familiarity with mining fleet management, maintenance, ERP or tire management software systems.
• Experience developing new business opportunities and maintaining commercial relationships within the mining industry.
• Relevant industry certifications or tertiary qualifications in engineering, mining, information technology or related disciplines.
• Industry experience and demonstrated technical capability will be valued highly, and formal tertiary qualifications are not essential.
