Job summary

Purcell's Global Mining Group is seeking an OTR Service Tech to perform tire repair and service at mine sites in Western Nevada, focusing on safety and efficiency.

The role includes mounting/dismounting OTR tires, tire repairs, and operating hydraulic equipment, with expectations for adherence to Purcell’s safety standards and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• OTR tire experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 3-yr Clean MVR with No DUIs.
• 2-3 years previous experience preferred.
• MSHA & TIA Certification preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background & drug screen.
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull heavy objects.
• Ability to work crouched or standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Dismount and mount OTR tires on sites using proper tools and safe procedures.
• Disassemble and reassemble tires onto wheels ensuring correct size and ply.
• Repair tires as needed; replace valve stems and remove puncturing objects.
• Operate hydraulic boom arm.
• Keep service truck, tools, and equipment clean and maintained.
• Capture and track site data following the issued schedule.
