Job summary

Purcell Tire & Rubber Co. in the mining sector seeks an OTR Service Tech to provide tire repair and field service at mine sites in Western Nevada. You will work on heavy equipment and ensure safe, efficient service.

Responsibilities include dismounting/mounting tires, repairing punctures, operating a hydraulic boom arm, and keeping the service truck and tools in top condition while upholding Purcell’s safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• 3-year clean MVR with no DUIs.
• OTR tire experience required.
• 2–3 years previous experience preferred.
• MSHA & TIA Certification preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background & drug screen.
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull heavy objects.
• Ability to work in a crouched or standing position for extended periods.

• Commit to continual improvement, training & professional growth
• Dismount and mount OTR tires on sites using the proper tools & safe procedures
• Disassemble and reassemble tires onto wheels ensuring correct size and ply
• Repair tires as needed; replacing valve stems, removing puncturing objects
• Operate hydraulic boom arm
• Keep service truck, tools, and equipment clean and maintained
• Capture & track site data following and ensuring their issued schedule.
• Maintain standards of cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of work area

• Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management
