Job summary

Woolpert is hiring a TxDOT Project Manager to join our Aviation Team in the United States. You will lead planning and execution of complex construction projects, coordinating across engineering, inspection, and internal teams while mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities include on-site monitoring, documentation, and risk management to ensure quality and contract compliance. This is a part-time, as-needed role requiring work authorization in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant construction management experience.
• OSHA 10 Construction Certificate (or ability to obtain).
• PE license or ACI/NICET IV (Highway Construction Inspection).
• Ability to lead execution of complex projects independently.
• Knowledge of contract administration and pay estimates.
• Strong communication and risk management skills.
• Familiarity with TxDOT Aviation practice is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of complex construction projects and manage scope, schedule, and quality.
• Coordinate field activities, schedules, and documentation.
• Review and approve critical project documentation including pay estimates and change orders.
• Mentor junior staff and support professional development.
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Serve as primary contact for contractors and clients.
