Job summary

Woolpert in Austin, TX is seeking a TxDOT Project Manager to lead complex construction projects within the Aviation Team. You will manage contracts, schedules, quality, and client relationships, serving as primary contact for contractors and clients.

This part-time, as-needed role requires working knowledge of TxDOT Aviation, review of plans for constructability, and mentoring junior staff to ensure consistent delivery. Applicants must have work authorization in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant construction management experience, including contract administration and pay estimate processes.
• Professional Engineer License or ACI/NICET credentials are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of TxDOT Aviation requirements and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of complex construction projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality objectives are met.
• Coordinate field activities, schedules, and documentation with internal teams and contractors.
• Review and approve pay estimates, change orders, and submittals; prepare closeout documentation.
