Woolpert, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a part-time TxDOT Project Manager to lead the aviation team's construction initiatives. You will coordinate across engineering, inspection, and internal teams, manage risks, and ensure contract alignment with schedules and quality.

This role requires on-site presence and active engagement with clients and contractors. You will review plans for constructability, refine Woolpert delivery methods for TxDOT, and mentor junior staff while maintaining strict

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management experience with contracts and pay estimates.
• OSHA 10 Hour certification or ability to obtain it.
• Professional Engineer license or NICET Level IV/Civil inspection credentials.
• Ability to manage high-risk projects independently and mitigate risks.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, specs, and contract requirements.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex construction projects ensuring scope, schedule, and quality.
• Coordinate field activities, schedules, and documentation.
• Review pay estimates, change orders, and RFIs for accuracy.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and manage on-site teams.
