Teach For America offers a full-time, two-year teaching opportunity for college seniors, graduate students, and early-career professionals aiming for high-stakes work and immediate leadership in the classroom.

You’ll teach in under-resourced public schools, build trust with families, and gain hands-on experience at the intersection of education and social issues, with a starting salary of $41,500–$50,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree (in any field).
• Must be a citizen, national, or legal resident of the United States, EAD holder, or have DACA status.
• No background in education or teaching certification required—candidates from all majors and experience levels are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Teach two years full-time in an under-resourced public school.
• Build genuine relationships with students and families.
• Learn to navigate barriers kids face inside and outside the classroom.
• Sharpen communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills through daily classroom leadership.
• Work with the school community to remove obstacles and open doors for students who need it most
