Job summary
Paycom - ATS in Weymouth, MA is seeking a Production Manager to lead two-shift manufacturing operations, drive Lean initiatives, and sustain safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will work with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to meet production requirements while controlling costs and improving performance.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of leadership in manufacturing, with hands-on people management, ERP/MRP usage, and strong problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience leading multiple shifts and production teams.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing performance reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead two-shift manufacturing and assembly operations to meet schedules, quality, and delivery.
- Monitor performance, staffing, bottlenecks, and equipment uptime; drive improvements.
- Lead Lean initiatives (5S, standard work, Kaizen, VSM) and track KPIs.
- Drive safety and OSHA compliance; conduct safety reviews and root-cause analysis.
- Lead supervisors; manage performance, coaching, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with Quality to address defects, CAPA, and process improvements.
