Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Industrial Engineer to design and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment, focusing on lean principles and 5S to maximize productivity. The role interfaces with customers, employees, and management for design improvements and new production requirements.

You will contribute to new product packaging development, provide cost estimations, and support tooling design and change implementations across production lines.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical/Mechanical Engineering or related field; 0–3 years experience.
• CAD/CAM experience desired; SolidWorks preferred.
• Works under direction of engineer I, II or manager; analyzes manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement manufacturing processes and process changes; evaluate and implement improvements.
• Support quoting with piece-part cost estimates for new products and cost calculations for existing products.
• Assist tooling design, gauges, machinery, fixtures; report costs and source completion.
• Troubleshoot processes via quality alerts and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain engineering documents (specs, prints, process instructions, routings) for manufacturing.
• Support new product launches and engineering changes.
• Direct Cell Technicians and support daily production.
