Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA is seekingFull-time Flex Houseparents for couples who will reside in on-campus student homes. They will provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for roughly 8-13 students, creating a structured, family-like environment to foster academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role requires a two-person team of married partners, aged 27+, with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

Experience working or volunteering with youth.
Two-person couple role for married partners (two years).
Both spouses aged 27 or older.
No more than three dependent children in home.
Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
Pets limited to fish and one dog of approved breed.
Valid U.S. driver's license; ability to be certified to drive student vans.
Lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel attendance (no proselytizing).
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students.

Responsibilities

Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
Managing household routines and student schedules.
Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
