Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus homes and provide care, guidance and supervision for 8–13 students, fostering academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing schedules, medications, driving to activities, and leading devotions. Candidates must be a legally married two-person team with a high school diploma or GED and a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
