Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a managing couple to oversee a beautiful 55+ age-restricted manufactured home park in Salem, Oregon. The successful duo will handle rent collection, enforce rental agreements and facility rules, and manage administrative duties including tenant screening, rental agreements, and promoting vacancies.

The position includes free housing (3-bedroom, 2-bath manager’s home) with utilities, semimonthly pay, and benefits such as medical/dental, a 401K after 90 days,

Responsibilities

• Rent collection: collect and deposit rents and fees on time; follow-up on delinquencies; issue notices and assist eviction proceedings as needed.
• Enforce rental agreements and park rules; supervise placement of RVs and manufactured homes; ensure compliance with standards and codes; oversee maintenance of skirting, porches, and landscaping.
• Administrative duties: prepare monthly reports, maintain tenant files, review applications, sign rental agreements, promote vacancies and liaise with dealers; maintain inventory and vendor lists; post notices; obtain Area Manager approval for purchases over $50.
