Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. (SEA) seeks a HE Category Management Director for TV & Sound in its CE eCommerce organization. You will own end-to-end P&L across Samsung.com and retailers, including revenue, profit, pricing, and promotional investments.

You’ll lead expansion into new commercial channels such as carrier and social marketplace, partnering with Finance, Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to enable growth. Strong leadership and executive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in eCommerce, category management, retail merchandising, or brand P&L management.
• Proven ownership of a P&L of comparable scale — revenue and profitability accountability.
• Strong quantitative fluency: forecasting, margin analysis, and Excel-based models.
• Experience managing pricing, promotional investment, and channel strategy with retail partners.
• Proven people leadership with at least one direct report.
• Excellent executive communication, able to present to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L for TV & Sound across Samsung.com and eCommerce channels with end-to-end accountability.
• Set pricing architecture, promotional cadence, and MDF/co-op investments with Finance and Sales.
• Forecast and manage sell-in/sell-out, reconciling retailer forecasts and drift.
• Lead the TV & Sound Category Support team and escalate category-level issues.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Retail Sales on category execution.
• Lead expansion initiatives (3P marketplace growth, social commerce, carrier/banking partnerships, AI-based commerce).
