Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is seeking a HE Category Management Director for TV & Sound. This full-time role owns end-to-end P&L across Samsung.com and eCommerce partners, guiding pricing, promotions, forecasting, and category strategy with Finance and Sales.

The director will also lead expansion initiatives into new channels (3P, social commerce, carrier partnerships) and drive AI-enabled commerce opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in eCommerce, category management, retail merchandising, or brand P&L management.
• Demonstrated ownership of a P&L of comparable scale - revenue and profitability accountability.
• Strong quantitative fluency: forecasting, margin analysis, and Excel-based models.
• Experience managing pricing, promotions, and channel strategy with retail partners or DTC.
• Proven people leadership with at least one direct report.
• Excellent executive communication skills for senior leadership, including variance and risk discussions.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue, SEA weight, operating profit, and OP% for TV & Sound across all eCommerce channels and report performance against plan.
• Pricing and promotional strategy - set price architecture, cadence, and MDF/co-op investment.
• Forecast and demand planning - own sell-in/sell-out forecasts and flag drift.
• Lead the TV & Sound Category Management team and act as escalation point for category issues.
• Represent TV & Sound in Weekly Business Reviews, S&OP, and executive reviews, partnering with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Retail Sales.
• Lead retailer and marketplace expansion initiatives beyond the base business.
• Extend social-commerce selling models into TV & Sound with platforms like TikTok Store.
• Identify carrier and banking partner opportunities for TV & Sound placement and growth.
