Job summary

Leading The Way in Atlanta seeks a Media Administrator for the TV Department to keep our production workflow smooth. You will manage media assets, archives, and the shared workspace to support 10-12 editors.

You will work with Avid Interplay, CatDV, Telestream Vantage, and related tools, ensuring accurate metadata, timely delivery, and scalable storage strategies. This role requires 5–15 years in media management, strong organizational skills, and a passion for precise, process-driven work

Qualifications

• 5-15 years in media management or a closely related role within a professional media environment.
• Hands-on proficiency with asset management systems and large media archives.
• Ability to develop and enforce naming conventions, metadata standards, and folder structures across a team.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily within Avid Interplay, CatDV, and the server environment as the central platforms for daily media management.
• Preserve, catalog, and archive hundreds of terabytes of footage to LTO tapes and monitor space across drives for system stability.
• Ingest, allocate, restore, and deliver media assets to editors in a timely manner based on production needs.
• Sync and pass sequences and projects to the appropriate team members to support active production workflows.
• Maintain a searchable index, folder structure, naming conventions, and metadata procedures for all content.
