Job summary

New Hanover County Schools seeks a Classified Tutor to support student learning through targeted tutoring. The role reports to a teacher or principal and carries a ten-month work year with at-will employment under FLSA non-exempt status.

Starting pay is $17 per hour on the Classified Tutor Pay Scale. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, at least 48 semester hours of college coursework or an associate degree, with experience working with students preferred.
